Identifying Grasses, Sedges, and Rushes

4 Days - $890

 

Learn to identify members of these three families by use of field and laboratory keying. Two-thirds of the class time will be spent in the lab and one-third using regional keys to identify plants in the field. Learn basic vocabulary, dissecting skills, and to prepare voucher specimens necessary to identify accurately such genera as Carex, Juncus, Scirpus, Glyceria, Poa, and Agrostis.
